Service – Printer/MFP/Copier Technician

Description du poste:

Your role is to leverage our toolset to proactively monitor our client’s network devices, exceed promised SLA’s and to ensure maximum user uptime. You will troubleshoot and repair printer and MFP devices at our client’s sites.

Compétences et expériences désirées:

You have a certificate or diploma from a recognized technical school or a college in the field of electronics, electrical repair, reprographics or a related field (2 or more years of related field experience as a technician may be substituted for the certificate/diploma. Electro-mechanical aptitude, electronics knowledge, computer literate.

  • Experience or Authorization on Canon, HP, Lexmark, Xerox Print Devices/Multi-Function(preferable)
  • Certified HP Printer Technician
  • Comptia PDI+ Certification (preferable)
  • A+ Certification (Mandatory)
  • Microsoft MCP Certification (preferable)
  • N+ for Networking (preferable)
  • Provide repair and service support in customer’s location
  • Own insured vehicle with valid Ontario driver’s license (mileage reimbursed)

Job Description:

A Managed Print Services Consultant works as a part of a dynamic team delivering Managed Print Services and complimentary Document Management software solutions to mid-market corporations. The Managed Print Services Consultant will manage a geographic territory with sales goal responsibility.


  • Manage and grow a group of target accounts with aggressive goals.
  • Identify prospective accounts; secure them as customers, and manage interaction with the company to ensure long term mutually profitable business relationships.
  • Add value to clients long-term through using SmartPrint Solutions Team to deliver business process improvement through document management and workflow solutions.

Resource Coordinator

Job Description:
Some of the key responsibilities to this role are to support both internal and external customers. Important elements of this role are providing hardware break/fix service support through answering and inputting service calls. The CSR will always provide a warm, friendly and welcomed approach. Always help solve problems and deal with issues while communicating with the rest of the SmartPrint team (Admin/Finance, Sales, Service, Operations, and Solutions). Supporting our MPS clients through pro-active toner replenishment and service response.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • 1st line phone support for inbound service, supplies calls and general customer service.
  • Proactive Supplies Management.
  • Proactive Monitoring of devices that may go stale via Facilities Manager.
  • Monitor and replenish MPS client toner inventory.
  • Track orders (parts and supplies) – various couriers.
  • Monitor and dispatch service calls to SmartPrint Technicians
  • Monitor and dispatch service calls to sub-contractors
  • Dispatch/Monitoring and Escalating service calls to meet SLA’s
  • Coordinate Resources (Onsite service calls, Parts, supplies)
  • Deployment Management – Working closely with Account Managers to ensure successful implementations.
  • Manage Part Returns.
  • Assist with quarterly inventory counts/review
  • Manage and coordinate on-site toner inventory intervals
  • Coordinate toner pick-ups
  • Provide transactional sales support for new or existing customers.
